Validation: Room Types

Setting	Description
Grouping	Used to group rooms by floor in the rooms table. When on (default), rooms are listed in rows within a "floor" collapsable row. Rooms remain listed in each floor grouping regardless of how they are sorted. When off, a Floor column is added. Rooms can be sorted based on any column, and are not restricted to appear within a floor.
Filter by	Used to filter the rooms displayed in the rooms table. By default, both options are not activated. All rooms are displayed. Show Only Invalid Room Types - When on, only rooms which are invalid are displayed. Room Type column cells containing rooms not mapped to room types contained in the active catalog are highlighted in red. Consolidate Identical Room Names - When on, rooms with the same name are consolidated into one row allowing you to map multiple rooms by selecting one room type for them. This is beneficial for mapping identical rooms located on multiple floors.
Room Type Manager	Used to open the Room Type Manager.
Calculation Standard	Displays the calculation standard selected in the Validation: Energy Settings.

Assigned room names are the original OpenBuildings Station Designer space name with a number appended (-001, -002, -003, etc.). Room Name - Displays the original OpenBuildings Station Designer space name. Room Type - Displays the room types mapped to the ASM rooms. Invalid room type cells are highlighted in red. - Each column contains a filter icon. Clicking opens the filter controls for that column. Here you can create simple filters by checking/un-checking the listed objects. Or you can create complex filters using the available filters.
